Shale Gas News 3/2/2019 Show

Every Saturday Rusty Fender and Cabot’s very own external affairs coordinator Bill deRosiers host a morning radio show, called Shale Gas News, to discuss topics and news relevant to the natural gas industry and is heard every Saturday at 10 AM on 94.3 FM, 1510 AM and Sundays on YesFM.

Rusty and Bill discussed recent industry news regarding oil surges as U.S. sees a steep drop in imports, communities feeling the ongoing pipeline pressures, and Saudia Arabia’s interest in natural gas.

For this week’s show, Bill and Rusty welcomed George Stark, Cabot’s director of external affairs on the show as a guest.

George spoke about Cabot’s fourth-quarter earnings call and recent highlights including the news that 2018 was Cabot’s best year as a public company. 2018 was also Cabot’s safest year, reinforcing the importance of safety in the oil and natural gas industry. George and Bill also discussed the ongoing importance of infrastructure and pipeline projects.

In addition, Bill mentions Cabot’s recent involvement in Susquehanna County Ags Day on March 1 which transitioned into George explaining Cabot’s commitment to agriculture and family farming.

George also mentions the benefits of the Atlantic Sunrise Expansion and the Leidy South Expansion Project.
