The Election is Right Around the Corner: Are You Prepared?

The 2020 election is just weeks away. If you’re already registered to vote, that’s great! If not, take a moment and learn more about how you can prepare.

Let Your Voice Be Heard!

Voting is your right, but it is also an exciting opportunity to make a difference in your community.

This is a presidential election year, but you will also see a variety of local and state officials on your ballot. These positions are just as important as they are the representatives for your local community.

How Can You Get started?

Register to Vote: Registering is quick and easy and can be done through various platforms online, by mail, or in person. However, each state has a deadline to register—Pennsylvania’s is October 19—so make sure you register to vote as soon as possible.

Learn About the Candidates: Find out which candidates are on your ballot and read up about each one so that you can feel confident when you make your vote.

Plan Ahead: If you plan vote by mail, apply for your mail-in ballot as soon as possible so you can submit it in time. If you’re heading out to the polls to vote in person, make sure you know where your polling place will be this year. Keep in mind, information may change due to complications with the coronavirus pandemic so be sure to double check your polling place information before heading out.
