Earth Day Clean up

Earth Day Energy Clean Up

Last year, we joined an industry-wide effort to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Coordinated by our friends at the Ohio Oil & Gas Association, companies, organizations and individuals worked together to plant 50 trees across the region. And the results were incredible!

This year, the industry is back at it again to come together and celebrate this magnificent earth and share our Earth Day Energy! We hope you will join us as well.

On April 22, we’re challenging you all to pitch in and do something special for the environment and be part of an Earth Day Clean Up. Take a stroll through your neighborhood for a trash pick-up, plant a tree in your backyard, or do some good old recycling. You can even get your own Earth Day Clean Up crew together or join an organized event in your area.

However you choose to “green-up” the space around you, we want to see the results! Snap some photos of the clean up activity you partake in, and share it in one (or both!) of the following ways:

  1. Email your photo to [email protected]. Make sure you tell us who you are in the subject line and remember to attach your photo!
  2. Post your photos to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and use the hashtag #EarthDayEnergy

We’ll be keeping tabs and sharing your photos too in an effort to spread the Earth Day Energy. So, start thinking about how you want to celebrate this year and green-up. I look forward seeing all of the creative ideas you all come up with!
