Update: 8th Annual Veterans Dinner and Show in WV

As part of Cabot’s commitment to veterans, this year the company donated funds to two organizations: Renovating Hope and Family and Friends Helping Veterans.

Family and Friends Helping Veterans had their annual Veterans Dinner and Show last month and wanted to send us an update on how it went:

Our 8th annual Veterans Dinner and Show this year was a great success. All volunteers, friends, family and our veterans seemed to think that this year was the best. The USO show was a great hit and the American hamburger, barb-q, and hotdog dinner was a homerun. The giant umbrella became an asset and a perfect gift with all the wet weather lately.

With the economy in southern WV plummeting, Cabot Oil & Gas stepped up to the plate and made this all happen. With fundraising falling short of our needs to be successful a heavy burden was lifting when your generous contribution was received.

On behalf of Family & Friends Honoring Veterans, I would like to say thank you and may God bless your company for its generosity to us. This Veterans celebration would not have been possible without you.

While we are happy to have been able to contribute to this great event – we are also very appreciative to all of the volunteers who donated their time and truly made this event possible. Thank you all for hosting these American heroes!
