Craig has worked with Cabot for two years and is enjoying his time here.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]He is responsible for designing, selecting and maintaining any Cabot-owned surface facilities (i.e. pipeline, compression, gas conditioning equipment, and measurement and regulation equipment.)  For most of the past year, he’s been working to install a CNG station in Springville Township to fuel Cabot’s fleet of pickup trucks.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Q: So Craig, where are you from?I grew up in Oakmont, a suburb of Pittsburgh along the Allegheny River, but I also lived in New Orleans for seven years and then in Charleston, West Virginia for 23 years before coming back to the area. Growing up here in the Pittsburgh area, I became accustomed to winning a World Series every 10 years or so. Now that I’m back I figure it’s time for that to resume!Q: We are, too. Given that you’ve lived elsewhere, what is your background in the industry?I have 32 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked as a company man on the drilling rigs, as a production engineer, as a reservoir engineer, and now as a facilities engineer, but the majority of my time was working as a planning engineer for a natural gas utility, on the transmission and storage aspects.Q:You seem to have a lot of experience in engineering. What do you like about your position?   I get to build things, solve problems and coordinate with lots of different people in order to come up with the best solution for what we are trying to accomplish.  At Cabot, I always like working with our field personnel – there’s so much to learn from them and they are always so helpful.   And we’ve got a great engineering/operations team here in the office, too.6) What makes Cabot different from other companies you’ve worked with?At Cabot, I have the chance to take a project from start to finish.
