Cabot/EMHS Community Match Fund Goal Shattered

If you haven’t heard, the Cabot/EMHS Community Match Fund has officially concluded and the results are incredible.

After making a leadership gift of $1 million in early 2012, Cabot worked with Endless Mountains Health Systems to establish the Community Match Fund in an effort to help fund the physician’s clinic of the new hospital. With Cabot matching every dollar up to an additional $1 million, the hope was to be able to contribute a total of $3 million towards its construction.

Just four months later that goal has been completely shattered:

$1 million leadership gift from Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation

$1.2 million raised by the community

$1.2 million matched by Cabot

$1 million grant from the Weinberg Foundation

While the physician’s clinic is fully funded, we still encourage giving to the new hospital project through The Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains. Resources are still needed to build another integral part of the facility – the Administrative Complex.
