[vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/2″]Our friends over at Kenworth of Pennsylvania took some time to show off their new CNG truck, the Kenworth Model T440. This heavy duty truck is powered by a Cummins ISL-G spark ignited engine capable of generating 320hp. What’s more amazing, the engine is 100% fueled by CNG.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]As for driving this heady-duty CNG truck, Randy explained, “Good power, quick response but most notable is overall quietness of the truck.” One of the more overlooked benefits of CNG engines is the sound reduction which, in some cases, can be 80-90% lower decibel levels than comparable vehicles.

Each truck, including this one is capable of many different configurations including dump body, roll off and flatbed.

From CNG to LNG, conversions to natural gas are not just good for their owners pocketbooks but also the environment.
