The Cabot/EMHS Community Match Fund: A Brief History
After seeing a need to help kick-start funding an integral part of the Endless Mountains Health System new hospital campaign, Cabot stepped forward with a $1 million leadership donation and created the Cabot / EMHS Community Match Fund. The Community Match Fund accepted donations from other corporations, foundations and the community-at-large to be matched by Cabot dollar for dollar up to $1 million.
Members of the community showed overwhelming support for the campaign – raising over $1.2 million in just four months. From individual donations to corporate giving to town-wide fundraising events, the community shattered the original goal with its outpouring of support.
Cabot is proud to be able to match the full $1.2 million raised by the community and to have been a part of such a wonderful initiative.
