In December 2010, as volunteers and staff, we were told that the Pennsylvania SPCA was going to close down our only local shelter.  We knew we had to do something to protect the homeless animals in our area.  With only 3 months to do so, not much of a plan, and zero money, we asked Cabot Oil and Gas for help.   Thankfully, they believed in what we were doing and gave us a chance to build our organization.  Without their faith and compassion, as well as our community’s, True Friends would not have been possible.  We will always be thankful to Cabot for giving us the chance we so desperately needed to get started.
