[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]On Tuesday, June 23, I joined other Pennsylvanians from manufacturing, small business, education, labor and supply chain companies in the Pennsylvania Capitol Rotunda to highlight the economic and job creation benefits of responsible shale gas development.

As a resident of Scranton, working and beginning my career in my hometown was always important to me.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Shortly after graduating from Penn State in 2013 with a degree in journalism, I accepted a marketing position at Borton-Lawson, a locally-owned engineering firm with a significant portion of its business in the natural gas industry.

The natural gas industry has offered recent graduates, like myself, attractive and lucrative career options without having to leave our hometowns. This industry has also given new life to the Northeastern Pennsylvania.
