The focus was on the various elements needed to properly collect, document and report field and analytical data on water supply sources that are sampled as part of an oil and gas operator’s well readiness program. The platform for this course was the Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP), guidance document that augments the MSC Recommended Practice for pre-drill Water Supply Surveys. This training workshop provided valuable information on proper sampling and reporting techniques for pre-drill samples, it also helped to standardize collection procedures among different companies.
