Each segment is a must see for anyone who is learning about oil and gas, or anyone who might be skeptical about the effects of this growing industry.

On Sunday November, 10 Generations of Energy released a segment that focused on energy education.  Teachers at West Side Career and Technology center wanted to show their students how they could get jobs in the energy industry. The program included workshops on all things energy. Sessions were held by representatives from Wilkes University and Lackawanna College. This particular segment highlights how Cabot teamed up with Junior Achievement of NEPA to bring hands-on learning to their students. Representatives from Rain for Rent, O’Brien and Gere, ARM Group, MSC and Comtech Industries were also present during the daylong event. Students were able to spend time with each company, while learning about geothermal and solar energy throughout the day.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The school’s administrative director presented the idea, and teachers immediately jumped on board. The program was a huge success, and the students all agreed that the program opened their eyes to the possibilities in the growing energy industries. Next spring the students will participate in another full day of energy education. This time learning about products made with energy and oil or natural gas bi-products.
