Venison donations will be redistributed to local food banks and food assistance providers. As we all know, PA hunting season is just around the corner and this additional support is sure to help HSH achieve their annual goal. Each year the program works to channel 100,000 pounds of processed venison from the fields to the food banks, and just one average-size deer will provide enough highly nutritious and low cholesterol meat for 200 meals.

Employees can deliver their deer to any of the participating butchers that can be found on the HSH website. Those who are donating must fill out the Cabot HSH voucher authorizing the donation, and don’t forget to keep the receipt! HSH is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization and any donation is 100% tax deductible.
