Drilling Down: Expo Overload- Job Opportunities in Natural Gas Industry

As a part of its commitment to building a strong local workforce, Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation participates in a number of programs designed to train individuals for work in the oil and gas industry as well as routinely attending regional job fairs. April’s Broome County Natural Gas Career and Education Expo sponsored by the Joint Landowners Coalition of New York (JLCNY) in partnership with Broome Community College is perhaps the greatest representation of the oil and gas industries commitment to hiring local individuals. Along with fellow industry operators and service companies, Cabot representatives interacted with roughly 3,000 job seekers.

This Friday, June 1, at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds, Cabot will be in attendance for one of the largest natural gas expos in the state.  If you’re in the area stop in and say hello from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at booth 12. We will have applications available for job seekers. If you can’t make it to the event, we will be live tweeting, so make sure to follow us on Twitter before Friday.
