Upcoming Event: The Energy Industry in Northeast PA

[vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]In March of this year, Speaker Mike Turzai organized an event in southwestern Pennsylvania at the Pittsburgh Technical Institute campus to discuss the energy industry and local benefits in the region. The event hosted elected officials as speakers from companies, educational institutions and the public sector spoke of their experiences with the oil and natural gas industry and the economic sustainability thanks to its growth.

To follow the success of the event and to highlight the obvious – and not so obvious – ripple effects being felt across the Commonwealth, Speaker Turzai has organized a second event focusing on northeastern Pennsylvania. The event will be held at Keystone College on Thursday morning and feature panels on supply chain, natural gas fuels, manufacturing opportunities and workforce development.

This is a great opportunity to show support for the industry while at the same time to hear from individuals with first-hand knowledge of just how the Marcellus Shale is an integral part of the economy.
