Taking the energy conversation global

At Cabot, we are constantly striving to make real the benefits of the Shale Revolution.  From the understanding of the abundance of the Marcellus to the safe and responsible operations we implement, Cabot is committed to showcasing all we do to produce abundant opportunities.

eagle-manufacturingTomorrow is another example of these opportunities. By partner with the Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA) and West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association (WVONGA), we will be hosting the West Virginia Manufacturing and Energy Forum in Wheeling which will be dedicated to highlighting how businesses are lowering their energy bills, expanding product lines, and employing more workers. All due to the availability of inexpensive natural gas that is produced right here in the PA, WV and OH. Local examples include how natural gas is powering Eagle Manufacturing, fueling a fleet of vehicles at local E&P companies, and energizing communities with endless possibilities.

But we MUST talk about and discuss how this transformational energy gets from the field to the factory floor. We need to highlight how a system of safe pipelines quietly deliver energy to businesses and residents. We need to inform people that this network that is out of sight and out of mind is the safest way to transport fuel.  We need to make sure that important aspects of daily life are NOT taken for granted. We see the opportunity to educate and promote energy literacy as an important feature to the overall energy industry.

We cannot maximize our value without having a firm and full understanding of the role energy plays every day in our lives.

Likewise, we have to harness technology to make sure we spread this message far and wide. So, while this conversation will take place physically in Wheeling, it will be virtually available around the globe. We need to take the bushel basket off the flame that the shale revolution has re-ignited, we need to share the benefits broadly.

pink-petroBy partnering with Pink Petro, Cabot will be commencing a new and expanded effort to take the good news and share it with those interested throughout the energy industry.

Click here to register for the live stream of tomorrow’s Manufacturing and Energy Forum which will be streamed to your computer directly by Pink Petro.

We will make the voice of pro-energy voices heard not just in WV, but in TX, OK and beyond. We recognize that we have a responsibility to all energy users to provide them with access to real facts. Data driven facts, science driven facts. When this possibility exist, Cabot and Pink Petro will do all we can to make the information easy to access and download.

We have plenty of voices willing to share their good news stories, now we just need to build a stronger, pro-energy community. A community that welcomes debate and values facts. A community where you can play your part or be a part of a larger voice in the energy conversation.

Join us tomorrow.  You are welcomed and encouraged to be part of our community.
