A look back at the campaign

January 2012

On January 20, 2012 the board of the Endless Mountains Health System along with several members of state and local government gathered to break ground on a new hospital in Montrose, Pa. The $45 million hospital will increase the number of services and provide state of the art equipment to treat patients.

March 2012

The Cabot/EMHS Community Match Fund was kicked off in March 2012 with the goal of raising $3 million towards the construction of a new hospital in Montrose, Pa.

April 2012

Cabot has created a $1 million dollar-for-dollar Community Match Fund to help raise the necessary funding for Endless Mountains Health Systems to construct a new hospital in Montrose, Pa.

May 2012

Doctors, nurses and staff talk about the current Endless Mountains Health Systems hospital located in Montrose Pa. and how the new hospital will greatly improve patient care for the community.

June 2012

The Weinberg Foundation has pledged $1 million towards the new hospital after learning of the Cabot/EMHS Community Match Fund and Williams has donated an additional $100,000 towards the fund after an initial contribution of $50,000.

July 2012

Community organizations stepped up to bring in the remaining necessary funds to the Community Match Fund. On July 20, it was announced that the community exceeded the goal and raised $1.2 million towards the new hospital.

August 2012

The Cabot/EMHS Community Match Fund was established in March 2012 with the goal of $1 million raised in the community. At its conclusion in July 2012, over $1.2 million had been donated.
