[vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]It’s time to get back into the flow of introducing you to our Cabot Crew.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Today we’d like for you to get to know John Papso, an Engineering Manager for the North Region at Cabot.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1964″ border_color=”” img_link_large=”” link=”” img_link_target=”” img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]John grew up in Tarentum, Pennsylvania – a small mill town about 20 miles away from Pittsburgh. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and started working for Cabot after graduating.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]John has been a Cabot employee for 31 years (that’s one dedicated employee!) and has worked in multiple locations during his tenure with the company. After starting out as a Drilling Engineer in northwestern Pennsylvania John transferred to Pampa, Texas where he worked as a District Engineer for about six years. In 1989 John returned to the Pittsburgh area and was promoted to his current position of Engineering Manager in 2001.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]What exactly is it that keeps John coming back to work with Cabot after 31 years? What makes Cabot so special? According to John,
Every day is a new challenge but I work with a great group of people who are up to facing that challenge.
In his role as Engineering Manager, John is responsible for overseeing the work of the Engineering Department. The department is responsible for a variety of work including reserve determinations, production forecasting, economic evaluations, completion procedures and reservoir studies. The group also supports the Completions Department with production enhancement and maintenance recommendations.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]And in their spare time, the Engineering Department is kind enough to help us out with the fun statistics we provide to our readers. Such as how the 345 Bcf of Cabot cumulative production could power 30.5 million CNG vehicles from Boston to San Francisco. Thanks, guys![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]John Papso: Engineering Manager, long-time Cabot employee & all around great guy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Stay tuned for the next Cabot Crew to learn about some of our other great employees![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
