The segment talks to representatives from three companies who are all using natural gas in different ways. Pennsy Supply, a sand, concrete, aggregate and asphalt manufacturer, is powering their Susquehanna County plant off of natural gas, creating an energy savings in the long term. Pennsy was the first commercial user of natural gas in Susquehanna County.

Compressed natural gas (CNG) not only burns cleaner than diesel, but the supply in northeastern PA makes it a great place to pilot this technology.

The company made t he decision to switch from coal-fired to natural gas-fired due to the abundant natural gas coming from the Marcellus.
